Privacy policy

Detepo is a brand of Solotech V.O.F. This policy explains which data we process, why we do so and what rights you have. We are the controller of this data.

What the counters measure

Our counters count visitors anonymously. They record numbers and walking direction, not personal data. The WiFi and 4G counters work without a camera. The 3D counter uses a sensor that counts passers-by without capturing or storing recognisable images. No faces, licence plates or other identifiable characteristics are stored. Counts are therefore not personal data and fall outside the scope of the GDPR.

What data we do process

Orders: company name, contact person, email address, phone number, delivery address, billing address, Chamber of Commerce and VAT number, payment details and order history.
Account and dashboard: email address, name, logged-in sessions, the locations and counters you have added and their measurement data.
Contact and support: what you send us via the contact form, email or WhatsApp, and our replies.
Reseller applications: company details, Chamber of Commerce and VAT number, website and explanatory notes.
Website: technical data needed to display and secure the site, and analytics data if you consent to it.

Why we process them

To fulfil and invoice your order, to make your dashboard and app work, to provide support, to comply with our legal obligations such as the tax retention requirement, and to improve our products. The legal basis is the performance of the contract, a legal obligation, or our legitimate interest in a working and secure service. For newsletters and non-essential cookies we ask for your consent in advance, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share them with

Only with parties needed to deliver the service: our webshop provider, payment service provider, carrier, hosting provider for the dashboard, email and support services, and our accountant. We have a data processing agreement with each of them where required. We do not sell your data and do not use it for third-party advertising.

How long we keep them

We keep invoice and order data for seven years, as required by the Dutch Tax Administration. We keep account data for as long as your account exists and for six months after that. We keep measurement data in your dashboard in line with your subscription; on cancellation we delete it within thirty days unless you request an export. We keep support messages and requests for two years.

Where your data is stored

The dashboard and the measurement data run on servers within the European Union. Where a supplier processes data outside the EU, this is done on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. Send your request to support@detepo.com; we respond within one month. If you disagree with how we handle it, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

Traffic with our site and the dashboard is encrypted. Access to customer data is limited to employees who need it. If you suspect a leak or vulnerability, report it to support@detepo.com — we will address it and keep you informed.
